For June we’re going to be tying the Rainbow Warrior and a mini hopper pattern. The Rainbow Warrior is very effective in a range of water conditions and has become my favorite nymph pattern. For the Mini Hopper, I’ve just started fishing lakes and ponds for bluegill and crappie this year. I tied this pattern for the first time last week after much success with a very similar fly that was given to me to try.
We’re going to be trying a new way to project the demonstration to a TV to make it easier for everyone to see. If all goes well, we’ll be recording these and posting them to our YouTube Channel.
