NKFF volunteers on Friday August 6 finished up a 3 week camp that started on July 20th at New Day Ranch in Verona. During this period the club members worked 6 daily sessions from around 9 to 2 each day.
Our main goal was to work with the children campers assisting them in learning to cast, hooking and landing fish which over the course of the sessions resulted in many smiles and much laughter. The fish which were bluegill along with a few bass cooperated enthusiastically with some kids catching as many as 12 fish per day.
NKFF wishes to thank all the gentlemen who came out and gave their time in the heat that made the fishing sessions a huge success. Thanks again to everyone!
