Captain Sarah Gardner is the co-owner and guide with Outer Banks Fly Fishing. She is a life-long angler and started her fly fishing career about 30 years ago in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, but coastal North Carolina is her home now. She will be talking about fly fishing the Outer Banks.
She targets everything that swims in Mid Atlantic saltwater. This includes cobia, blues, spotted sea trout, red drum, false albacore, Spanish mackerel and a variety of sharks. She also hosts international trips to Baja, Bahamas and Guatemala with her husband Capt. Brian Horsley.
Sarah is a SAGE & RIO & Patagonia Ambassador, photographer, writer, videographer, instructor. Her personal beliefs on fly fishing: Mindfulness. You must always pay attention to what Mother Nature is telling you, even when you are charging a pod of breaking fish.
