Floating a 2.7 mile section of the Whitewater River just south of Connerville, Indiana.
In the water by 10AM – out by 4PM.
You must have your own kayak/canoe/float craft.
Bring your own lunch.

- Meet at 8:00 AM at Brookville Dam overflow park off of SR-101 across from Gillman Hardware store just past the Brookville Tailwater parking lot on your left. If you can see the spillway of the Brookville Reservoir from the parking lot you are in the correct location.
- Put in ramp – We will caravan from there up to Metamora on SR-52, turn north on SR-121 up through Laurel, to right on Veterans Memorial Drive over the river to the first gravel drive on the left (right before the Duke Energy Office building).
- Take out – train bridge – 2.7 miles downstream on your right.
- 5-7 wt. rods – woolly buggers, pheasant tail buggers, top water grasshoppers, olive, black, purple good colors.
- Fishing gear suggested – 3X (8 lbs.) tippet off of a tippet ring.
- PFD is a must
- Wet/wade shoes/boots are a must.
- You will be walking and dragging your watercraft in places. Bring a piece of rope or webbing to drag it along.
