DESCRIPTION:PARKLANDS OF FLOYDS FORK FLOAT OR WADE FISHING (CANE RUN TO SEA
 TONVILLE OR THE EGG-LAWN AREA\n\nInitial plans for folks from up here are 
 to meet at the Shoe Carnival / Staples parking lot at 6:15AM. Those of us 
 who will be floating (kayak or canoe or inflatable) will be trailering our
  craft. A few of us can take more than one kayak or canoe or combination s
 o folks can drive/rideshare. We’ll try to work that all out before the t
 rip. We’ll partner up and then head south on I-75 stopping at Richwood t
 o grab breakfast at McDonald before continuing down I-71. We plan on being
  at whichever upper access point we will launch from by 8AM-ish. Folks com
 ing from further south (Georgetown\, Lexington/Louisville\, etc) will leav
 e at an appropriate time to meet up with us.\n\nAt this point we don’t e
 ven know what stretch of Floyd’s Fork we’ll be fishing. That will depe
 nd on the then-current water conditions\, etc. It will definitely be one o
 f the shorter sections … we like to float sections that are 3-miles or l
 ess in length (put-in to take-out) so we maximize fishing and minimize pad
 dling. In either case\, folks who go to wade fish will have the put-in and
  take-out accesses to wade and fish so that we can all meet at the take-ou
 t point and decide where to go for a late lunch/early dinner before headin
 g home. My vote is for Double-Doggs (13307 Shelbyville Road – Route 60 e
 ast of Middletown\, KY just off I-265 Gene Snyder Hwy). They have a great
  taco salad … served in a big dog bowl. Fun!!\n\nFor now … we need to 
 know who is interested\, whether you have a float-craft and/or trailer or 
 if you just plan to wade and fish. If you have a float craft do you need t
 o have it trailered\, can we combine vehicles\, riders\, drivers\, etc to 
 minimize travel costs. REGISTER here and we will contact you as the date n
 ears.\n\nAs the date approaches\, the maps for the appropriate section(s)\
 , driving directions\, contact info for everyone going\, equipment and fly
  listings\, etc will be sent to those who decide on actually going.\n\nAs 
 with any of our local trips\, do NOT let the fact that you are a beginner 
 or may not have the appropriate (or any) fly-fishing gear keep you from at
 tending this trip. Many of us have loaner outfits. You will need felt-sole
 d wading boots … but probably not waders … most of us will be wet wadi
