  TRIP \n\n– Saturday June 22 or RAIN / HIGH WATER  DATE Sunday\, June 3
 0\n\nThis is a float only trip … because we are not sure of any safe acc
 essible and wadable areas.\n\nMeet at 6AM at the Shoe Carnival / Staples P
 arking lot in Florence to drive to the Cave Run Lake Dam Tailwater Access 
 Park – it’s about a 2-hour drive. Directions: I-75 south to I-64 east
  out of Lexington. I-64 east to exit 133 (Farmers KY-801 south)\; follow K
 Y-801 south past US-60. Turn right onto KY-826 then right onto the first r
 oad to right after crossing the dam. We’ll stop somewhere along the way 
 to have breakfast the continue to the put-in.\n\nWe’ll launch our kayaks
 /canoes/jon boats/bass boats/etc and float &amp\; fish our way downstream 
 for a mile or two. Then we’ll paddle and be towed back up-river to the t
 ailwater access park to take out and head home … probably stopping somew
 here for dinner.\n\nActual date is dependent on the COE being finished dra
 wing down the lake to summer pool so the flow is slow enough for us to fis
 h without being swept down too far. The nearest public take-out down-river
  is six or seven miles.\n\nSo at least one\, possibly two of us must have 
 a motor-craft to help tow the paddlers back to the put-in.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\
